So guys, here's my very first book review on Amazon.com by the lovely Jessica Sawa: (https://www.facebook.com/JessiSawa) :

The way Jodie pierce writes in amazing! She pulls you in from the first sentence to the very last leaving you to want more more more! With each page turn you are on the edge of your seat waiting to see what is going to happen next.
The book starts out with a woman who doesn't remember anything about her life, she seems very introverted until BANG she just flips on one of her party guests. she grows as you read the book into this wonderful Vampire Queen who has her loyal subjects and defeats the bad... or has she?
I cannot wait to read the second book in this series. Jodie is a wonderful author that paints that lovely picture of the characters and scenes in the readers head. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

****Here's my 2nd review on The Vampire Queen:5.0 out of 5 stars The Ancient One has been awakened September 25, 2012
By Deborah Palumbo
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I was drawn in from the very first page wondering who this countess and her subjects were. I had to turn the pages to find out what was going to be revealed. The countess herself had no memories; we learned them along with her. She turned out to be a vampire, the Ancient One, and there were also evil vampires (and you didn't always know for sure who they were) trying to manipulate her because they had goals of their own...evil goals.
She had a difficult time wondering just who she could trust, and for a time she was deceived, but let me tell you she wises up and her powers, like flying and mind reading, come into play full force!
Awesome story Jodie Pierce! Highly imaginative, well-written, and it leaves the reader wanting more!

****My 3rd review of The Vampire Queen:
4.0 out of 5 stars A vampire fanatics must read September 30, 2012
By Andrea
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
"The Vampire Queen" by Jodie Pierce is the first installment of "The Vampire Queen Trilogy". A must read for vampire fanatics who are looking for an interesting short story. The book centers around Countess Paulina de Lourdes, a vampire who has been awaken from a deep slumber by the Count, her benefactor. The Countess must learn who she is and who her allegiance lies with in a battle of good and evil. Along this journey she learns why her allegiance is so important in the vampire world and why. She finds friendship, love and betrayal in those who are close to her.

I recommend this book if you are looking for a fast-paced, elegantly written short story. Each character is unique and plays a role in the outcome of this story. The Countess is, strong, powerful and determined if a little juvenile and petulant at times. She allows no one to step on her; therefore you end up admiring her for this. While I enjoyed reading this book, I would have liked more character depth. The Countess, being the main character, was a little hard to like at first. I would also have liked to know more about the Count and the relationship between the two. The ending leaves you with questions and well, I will certainly read the second book, and find out what adventure the Countess finds herself in next.

Jodie Pierce is an excellent writer, she lures you into her world with few words and unique characters. I will admit, this is the first book that I have read from this author and it will not be the last

The Vampire Queen:
My Review: Since I started this blog. I have to say I have read things that I would have never thought of reading before. I have always stayed away from short stories. Never thinking they had enough substance to capture my attention. Even from authors I love reading. I would like to thank Jodie Pierce for opening my eyes to how naive I was being.
This story captured me from page one and I finished it in a few hours. I did not put this book down. I loved how the story flowed and the world created. I also like how each character in the story had purpose in the story. I hate stories that introduce characters that are just filler. This is a short story but you get more than you bargain with out of the story. I will never look at short stories the same again. When I was done with this book I wanted more. What happens next? I am glad I will be reading the next two in the trilogy in the upcoming weeks, and look forward to sharing my thoughts on them too.

The Vampire Queen on Goodreads.com
Ann Snizek's review Dec 29, 12
Read from December 20 to 24, 2012
The Vampire Queen is a fast paced story of self-discovery and intrigue. Jodie Pierce has a unique look at the world of vampires and her writing keeps you reading in order to discover what happens next. She keeps you guessing right until the end about who is good or evil. Each character seems to have their own agenda and secrets.

With one turn after another, the suspense of mounting secrets makes the reader have to know more. Who is telling the truth? Who has more to hide? Who is manipulating whom? And what really is the truth? These questions only grow along with the story!

While the characters are sexy and alluring, it seems to me more of a mystery/thriller. It isn't a long book, but that makes you want to know what will happen next, to know more about the characters -- begging Ms. Pierce for more!

My only problem is that it is too short. ;)

The Vampire Chronicles:
My Review:  The continuation of this series makes you want more. I love the fact that the author can weave such an intriguing story with such well developed characters in just a few pages. The writing is wonderful. I was drawn in from the first page and did not put it down till I was finished. Jodie Pierce creates a vivid world that leaps off the page and stays with you. As a vampire fan it is a must read for adults. I highly recommend this book and I am again glad I picked them up. Fast paced and exciting with a stunning setting and riveting characters. I am reading the third book now and can not wait to see what happens next.
After reuniting with her ex-lover, the Countess and Kendra journey to Venice to meet with a local coven searching for a vampire leader. The Countess gladly takes on the role and is readily accepted by most of the pure blooded vampires. After a bloody battle with a Japanese vampire who has traveled the world violating the code by creating an army of vampires, the Countess is kidnapped and taken to Japan to atone for her actions. Will she get more than she bargained for or will she learn the biggest secret of her life? Is she in over her head or will she survive and triumph over her adversaries? Will her coven be able to rescue her?

****Here's the 1st review I've had for my The Vampire Chronicles. Check it out:5.0 out of 5 stars You can't help but turn the pages to read! October 16, 2012

Format:Kindle Edition
Jodie Pierce weaves a story that is so imaginative and well crafted, and her characters are so real, you think you know them, are part of their lives. You turn the pages one after the other, unable to put the book down, whether dinner is calling, or sleep is needed, or you've got a task to do, you keep on reading! You just have to find out what is going to happen next!
The Countess and the one she loves, Kendra, venture to Italy to meet with a secret vampire coven; she becomes their leader. Her first goal as leader is to stop the bloodbath created by a Japanese vampire who travels the world preying on humans and turning them into vampires.
A vicious battle ensues between them causing a series of events that spiral out of control: The countess is separated from Kendra, she is then captured and chained and thrown into a Japanese dungeon. Initially she's without her powers, without the one she loves, without answers. She's waiting for the vampire Toshihiro, the one who decides her fate. She waits patiently in her dungeon cell, chained and eating the humans that are thrown in through her locked door; she is told she will one day have an audience with Toshhiro.
Finally she comes face to face with him and it is then that he reveals a secret that astonishes her! What will Toshihiro decide her fate will be? Will she find love in the midst of turmoil? Well you gotta read the novel to find out!
