Author Bio:
I live with my hubby, in Pahrump, Nevada (grew up in Lakewood, Ohio but moved) who has given me my fairy tale 'happily ever after'. I have had a fascination with vampires since they were introduced to me as a child and have had a long history with them. I have been writing since high school, keeping my love stories secret. It wasn't until I started reading Anne Rice books, at the age of 19, that I was inspired. I realized I wanted to write about vampires. I was an exchange student in Brasil in high school so you will find some of my experiences from there in my stories. I also enjoy research and many of the places outside of the USA have been researched so the places, activities, attractions and food are actually real. I am inspired by music and enjoy all genres but something has to be playing in the background as I write.
I have published four short novels(Eternal Press), a short story in "Midnight Thirst II", an anthology(Melange Books), have two anthologies with another company and have ten self-published books all of which can be found on www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com & www.smashwords.com. I like to do charity anthologies where several Authors came together and donated their stories and proceeds to such charities as St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the ASPCA, the Alzheimer's Association and The National Children's Cancer Center. I have several short stories that I still work on and I'm always busy with the next great vampire story as my mind is non-stop and even plagues my dreams. I wake up at 3am sometimes and just have to write. In my spare time.I enjoy spending time with family, music, movies, helping out other Authors, blogging, reading, Reiki and all things metaphysical.
I just got the rights back from my traditional publisher so I am going to go back through them, reformat them and then put new covers and rerelease them by the end of the year.

Tales of the Vampire: From A-Z:
This is a collection of short vampire stories, an Anthology if you will. I've had these stories which have accumulated over the years and I didn't know what to do with them. I decided to put them all together in this book. The stories are mostly named after women so they are arranged in order of their names. Not each letter is represented and sometimes there are several stories under the same name but you will love the stories so much this minor detail won't matter. Each one is about a vampire, tempting, tasting, romancing and desiring young women. Only one is not about a vampire but still falls under the paranormal genre. Each one is romantic, pulls at the heart strings and makes you want to be the one there with the vampire.
Once Sanguist, Twice Bi:
A young Broadway vampire is confronted by an unsuspected vampire and opts to protect her mortal lover by making her as a vampire. This does not placate him so the two lovers go on the run. Trials and tribulations keep them moving around the globe in order to elude him though his pockets run deep. The two women often not only enjoy themselves in their sexual escapades but also by feeding from each other when they cannot sustain themselves otherwise. Learn about different places and follow this dynamic bi-sexual vampire lovers as they travel in contemporary times.
A Society Intoxicated with Vampires:
Why is our society intoxicated with vampires? Is it because the male vampire characters have been romanticized by movies and book covers? The vampire was actually a vial and foul creature, preying on the weak humans and animal race. This book covers the truths, myths, my take and fun surrounding the vampire. Be prepared to learn something you never knew about the vampire and take a trip down memory lane within this book. I hope you enjoy it!
Vampire of Brazil:
A young woman from Rio de Janiero, Brazil wakes up in a mausoleum to find herself all alone with no memory. When the vampire Thomas rescues her, he treats her like the child he never had. However, when Ranato comes into Christiane’s life, she knows she’s in love and leaves Thomas. Is Ranato all that he seems to be or does he have a more sinister plan for her? Will other forces help her or work against her? Will she be able to stay alive and find true happiness? Do you like Egyptian mythology? Then this book is for you. This book was also published in Portuguese!

I just wanted you to meet my newest and awesome fellow author Deborah Palumbo. She's a great person, an excellent and addictive writer and an all around wonderful person! I took a sample of her book, The Undeparted from Amazon.com and was so addicted that I went and bought the full copy that same night. I didn't want the story to end so I have to keep reading to find out more about what's going to happen to her main character Cassandra and the vampires. She's got a sequel, The Ascent of the Undeparted and her newest book, which she's still working on. I'm sure when I'm dong with Ascent I'll be craving her other book. She's brilliant and I just can't say enough great things about her. Please check her out at: www.deborahpalumbo.com and buy her books at:

3/8/13 New News!
Hi all! I have two new Authors I've come across since I last posted here. They both have excellent new books coming out and I want you to go check them out!
1. Ann is my favorite Author of 2012. Ann Snizek has the Tunultol Book Series. Book 1 is Fortress of Light. Book 2 is Secret of the Shielded. Book 3 is Jewel of the Nirel which is due out in the next month or two. All can be found on Amazon.com and Smashwords.com.
You can follow her at www.annsnizekauthor.blogspot.com
Here's my review of book 1:
Tunuftol’s Fortress of Light was a wonderfully woven story full of fun, charisma and entertainment. Ms. Snizek has fully developed characters what are loveable and make you feel a gamete of emotions throughout the story. She writes in a manner that the reader feels like they are right there as part of the group in the story and the things there are actually happening around you. You are put right into the story as you read it.
A young girl and her brother are pushed around through the adoption system until they are found by a caring Grandmotherly type old lady. Krissa, the main character starts having inexplicable dreams and her little brother Micah knows more than she gives him credit for. Krissa’s new friend Pin and her twin brother Khevin start to unravel Krissa’s questions about her dreams. She has become The Chosen One and is taken on a mission to take over the faction that has upset Khevin’s family from the throne. She has to learn her powers and follow her dreams which Pin helps out with as she’s a dream weaver. The group of friends accumulated at school take on a trip to find this other place they left as children and struggle against the evil they face. Will they succeed in the end? Who is the most valuable and who keeps the most secrets? Will Krissa know what to do when the time comes?
Author Ann Snizek creates a world where any reader would like to go. The travel she puts this young group on is a treat for the reader. As you learn along with the main character, you feel for her and learn some interesting facts. She gives you a whole world where you can emerge yourself for awhile and follow along with this group of friends. I would recommend this as a must read for anyone who likes to get themselves entirely involved in a story. This is a page turner that is hard to put down. It’s an easy read with short chapters that move you along through the story at a quick pace. Ms. Snizek has done a great job creating a story that everyone should read!
2. Mark is my favorite Author of 2013. Mark Knight is starting a new series called Blood Family. Book 1, self titled was an amazing genesis. I had been anxious to read the book and it did not disappoint! The book is due out the end of March 2013 and is going to hit the best-sellers list immediately!
You can follow Mark at www.markknightbooks.com & www.markknightbooks.wordpress.com
Here's my review of book 1:
Blood Family: Quest for the Vampire Key is an awesome, awesome, awesome book. Did I say awesome? I read a lot and believe me, I’ve not read anything like this since I read Anne Rice novels back in the 90’s. I originally read just the sample of this story on the Author’s website. I was so intrigued that I bugged and bugged him for the full novel. It far exceeded my expectations and I had already had high hopes for it after the sample.
Young Daniel finds out from his family that he is a Dhampir and the blood package he received in the mail further confirmed what he feared. He was adopted from his ‘mom’s’ sister, Celeste and his father was Dominus, Lord of the Shadow World. Daniel leaves his home and everyone he knows in search of his biological mother. After visiting Xochil, a shaman, he learns much of what he’s going to need to know to battle to keep himself from succumbing to his fathers’ twisted world. He meets a young paranormal investigator whose father was killed by Dominus and takes her along on his journey reluctantly. Read the story to follow his journey. Will he find his mother? Will he keep himself from the snares of his father? There’s so much to this story that it will keep you guessing.
The Author, Mark Knight, takes you on a twisting and turning journey with his main character. Just when you think you have things figured out and how much more could possibly happen, he adds another aspect to the story that sucks you in. He’s created a world where you really feel like you are going through this journey with Daniel yourself and envelopes you in a world of insane, cunning and manipulative characters. He is an excellent storyteller and paints the picture so well for you that you can actually see it in your mind. His attention to detail and creativity is leaps and bounds beyond anything I’ve ever read. The story is simply creative, well thought out and just crazy good! It is a must read for anyone who loves paranormal, mind blowing, dark fantasy. I just can’t say enough to give this book its proper justice. If this were a movie, which it would be awesome if taken on, it would break all the blockbuster records out there and win all the Oscars if the right people were cast. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, it is a 100! If there was a grade above an A+, it would be used for this book! You will not be disappointed with this book. It was worth every minute I spent reading it and I’m already looking forward to a sequel. “Behind every door, and down every alleyway, we will be watching.”

05/24/13 News!
I just came across a new Author that I've been 'friends' with almost since I became published but have not read any of her stories until now. Tara Fox Hall (www.tarafoxhall.com) is a very exciting Author that I've just started reading her stories and am very excited about what I'm reading! Her four book series, the Promise Me series is fantastic. The books:
1. Promise Me
2. Broken Promises
3. Taken In the Night
4. Taken For His Own
This is a wonderfully delightful series, full of paranormal romance. They are well written, a great story and very entertaining. I was pulled through the first book at lightening quick speed. I couldn't put the book down and couldn't wait to find out what happened next in the story. Tara is a wonderful, caring, generous person that kindly made me one of her famous cat beds. In repayment I volunteered to set up a blog hop and facebook event for her. This is when I started reading her stories so I could do a review for her as well. I was sucked in from the beginning and she's been a great person to work with. Very kind, creative and gracious. Can't wait to get her cat bed as others have raved about them. She has another series, Lash. Please check out her books on amazon.com. Leave her a review and let me know what you think of her books as well. She loves to hear from her fans as well so check out her website also. You can find her here:
